Discover Ragusa, a Baroque jewel of southeastern Sicily and the provincial capital, dramatically divided between the upper town and the historic district of Ragusa Ibla.
Our walking tour begins among the panoramic viewpoints of the upper city, where we will admire the extraordinary urban landscape and understand how Ragusa was rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1693.
From Santa Maria delle Scale, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the city, we will descend towards Ibla through stairways and narrow streets, enjoying spectacular views over rooftops, domes and the surrounding Hyblaean hills.
Once in Ragusa Ibla, we will explore its elegant Baroque squares, noble palaces and churches, discovering the stories and architectural details that make this part of the city so unique.
