Explore Pantalica, one of Sicily’s most extraordinary archaeological and natural landscapes and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site shared with Syracuse.

Starting from the Ferla side, we will hike through a dramatic landscape of limestone canyons, Mediterranean vegetation and ancient rock-cut settlements. Along the way, we will discover prehistoric necropolises, Byzantine villages, rock-cut oratories and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the valleys carved by the Anapo and Calcinara rivers. The Ferla access is particularly rich in archaeological remains, including the area of the Anaktoron, traditionally known as the “Prince’s Palace.”

After the hike, we will continue to Ferla for lunch and some well-deserved time to relax.

On request, the experience can be extended with a visit to Palazzolo Acreide, one of the Baroque towns of the Val di Noto.
